The Whole Person Approach
At the heart of my practice is the belief that healing involves the whole person: mind, body and soul. We are shaped by our experiences and relationships, but I don't believe we experience life through our minds alone. Our emotional lives are also connected to our bodies and, for some of us, to a deeper sense of meaning, connection or spirituality.
Mind | Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy sits at the heart of my work. I offer psychotherapy to clients aged 16 and over. Together, we can explore the experiences, relationships and patterns that have shaped you, make sense of what you are experiencing and develop a deeper and more compassionate relationship with yourself.
Body | EFT
Sometimes we can understand something with our minds and yet notice that something still feels unresolved within us. My training in Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), or tapping, offers another way of exploring the connection between our emotional and bodily experience, and can be drawn upon alongside psychotherapy where it feels appropriate and meaningful to you.
Soul | Reiki
For me, soul is not about following a particular spiritual belief. It is about making space for meaning, connection, stillness and the parts of ourselves that can sometimes be difficult to put into words. My Reiki training with The Reiki Academy London, incorporating both the Western and Japanese lineages of the Usui System of Reiki, allows me to bring this dimension more consciously into my whole-person approach. Reiki sessions are available for people of all ages, with parental or carer consent for children where appropriate.
Mind. Body. Soul.
Not three separate parts of us, but different aspects of the same person.
My intention is not to prescribe one way of healing, but to create a space where all of who you are is welcome.
Sessions & Fees
Psychotherapy sessions are 50 minutes and £120 per session, usually held weekly at an agreed time. Sessions are offered online.
I also offer a free 15 minute introductory phone call, giving us an opportunity to talk briefly about what has brought you to therapy, answer any questions you may have and get a sense of whether working together feels like the right fit.
